This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the CineCoach platform at https://cinecoach.paris, operated by DECCS SAS. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account in accordance with the procedures set out in the Terms of Service.
CineCoach is an educational platform for screenplay coaching and cinema analysis. This AUP ensures that all users can enjoy the Service in a safe, respectful, and productive environment.
You may use the Service to:
Submit your own original screenplay excerpts or materials you have the right to share for feedback and coaching.
Access and engage with educational content in the Explore and Learn sections.
Use feedback and analysis provided by the Service to improve your personal screenwriting skills.
Participate in the structured learning modules and complete exercises.
You may not submit or transmit through the Service any content that:
Infringes on any third party’s intellectual property rights, including submitting scripts, screenplays, or materials you do not own or have the right to share.
Is defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, or abusive.
Contains hate speech, promotes violence, or discriminates based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit (unless integral to a legitimate screenplay context and handled with appropriate sensitivity).
Promotes illegal activities or provides instructions for committing crimes.
Contains malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
Is spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional material.
You may not:
Use the Service for any commercial purpose not authorized by CineCoach, including reselling feedback or using the platform to provide competing services.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code, algorithms, or AI models used in the Service.
Use automated tools, bots, crawlers, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Service.
Attempt to bypass or circumvent any access controls, rate limits, usage restrictions, or security measures.
Overwhelm, disable, or impair the Service’s infrastructure through excessive requests or denial-of-service activities.
Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse free-tier limitations.
Share, transfer, or sell your account credentials to third parties.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
You may not:
Attempt to manipulate, trick, or exploit the AI feedback system through adversarial inputs or prompt injection techniques.
Use the Service to generate content for purposes of misinformation, deception, or fraud.
Systematically extract AI-generated content to build a competing product or dataset.
Submit content designed to test or probe the AI system’s limitations for purposes unrelated to legitimate screenplay feedback.
You must respect the intellectual property rights of others:
Only submit content that you have authored or have explicit permission to share.
Do not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display CineCoach’s proprietary educational content, methodology, or feedback without written permission.
Report any suspected intellectual property violations to us.
If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them to info@cinecoach.paris. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violations of this AUP. We may review User Content and account activity as part of an investigation, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
If we determine that a violation has occurred, we will apply a proportionate response based on the severity of the violation:
First violation (minor): written warning with an explanation of the issue and a request to cease the conduct.
Repeated or moderate violation: temporary suspension of access to the Service for a defined period.
Severe or repeated violation after warning: permanent termination of the user’s account.
If required by law or if the violation involves illegal activity: report to law enforcement authorities.
In all cases, we will provide you with notice of the violation and the action taken, along with an explanation of the reasons.
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting us at info@cinecoach.paris within 30 days. We will review your appeal and respond within 15 business days.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates this AUP. Where practicable, we will notify you before or promptly after removing content, with an explanation of the reason for removal.
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email with at least 15 days’ advance notice. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
