What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide information to website owners, and enhance the user experience. Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, and local storage.

We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising cookies. Plausible and Vercel Web Analytics measure page views without cookies and without identifying you. Note: This table will be updated as our technology stack evolves. The actual cookie names may vary slightly. Last verified: September 7, 2026.

2.1Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of the Service: the sign-in session, the CSRF security token, the sign-in return address, and your language choice. They cannot be disabled, as the Service cannot function without them. Legal basis: exempt from consent under Article 82 of the French Loi Informatique et Libertés and the CNIL guidelines, as strictly necessary or as a preference you expressed yourself.

2.2Functional Cookies

We do not currently set any functional cookies beyond the language preference listed above. Learn progress and Script Check history are stored in your account on our servers, not in cookies. If we add functional cookies that require consent, we will ask for it first and update this policy.

2.3Analytics Cookies

We measure usage with Plausible Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics. Neither sets cookies nor stores identifiers in your browser; both report aggregated page views only. Under the CNIL exemption for audience measurement, this does not require your consent.

2.4Payment Cookies

Stripe, our payment service provider, sets cookies on its hosted checkout page for payment session management and fraud prevention. These are strictly necessary for payment transactions.

 3

Your Cookie Choices

3.1Why There Is No Cookie Banner

We only set cookies that are strictly necessary or that record a preference you expressed yourself, and our analytics work without cookies. Under the CNIL guidelines, none of these require consent, so we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add cookies that need your consent, we will add a banner that lets you refuse as easily as you accept.

3.2Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, though this may affect the functionality of the Service.

3.3Do Not Track

We set no tracking cookies, so there is nothing for a “Do Not Track” signal to switch off. Our analytics are aggregated and cookieless for every visitor.

 4

Cookie Retention

Cookie retention periods are detailed in the table above. In accordance with CNIL recommendations, no cookie has a retention period exceeding 13 months.

 5

Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated ‘Last Updated’ date. If a change introduces cookies that require consent, we will ask for that consent before setting them.

 6
