The Narrative Blocs

Each block answers one question, then passes the baton. It can be a scene, a shot, a sequence.

Paco says:

The action-consequence unit. The body and the motor. Tragedy = cause → consequence → worse consequence → catharsis. Comedy = same thing, but with a twist. As Pierre Jenn taught: each narrative bloc is not necessarily a shot or a scene or a sequence — it is a sum of scenes that focuses on one question alone.
